Last night, Canada's own k.d. lang made Olympic magic when she performed the classic Leonard Cohen tune "Hallelujah" for a live audience of 60,000-plus and some three billion television viewers the world over at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. The Vancouver Sun said k.d. "reminded the world that she is one of the best in the business, with a stirring, spiritual rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" that literally hushed the crowd."
