    The Avalon Hollywood will be the site of the 18th Annual Super-Star Celebration Fundraising Brunch benefiting the L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs. To be held on Sunday, November 17th, L.A.C.E.R. will be honoring Grammy Award Winning Singer/Song Writer k.d.lang.
     
    Declared by Tony Bennett to be the “best singer of her generation”, k.d. lang has been thrilling audiences with her unparalleled vocal stylings and exuberant performances for more than 25 years. The recipient of 14 Grammy nominations and 4 Grammy Awards, k.d. serves as an ambassador for Tools for Peace, a transformative program offered through L.A.C.E.R. that teaches youth a set of skills for peaceful conflict resolution.
     
    The Super-Star Celebration Fundraising Brunch will be hosted by Fritz Coleman and Will Seymour and will also be attended by musician, songwriter, record producer and previous L.A.C.E.R. honoree Linda Perry and by Sara Gilbert, actress and creator/co-host of CBS’s The Talk.  City Councilmember Tom LaBonge will also be honored.
