John Varvatos closes the street and opens the door of his West Hollywood boutique on Sunday, March 13 for an afternoon of live music, shopping, live and silent auctions, great food, kids' activities and fashionable festivities on Melrose and Robertson outside his flagship boutique. "Shop to Show Your Support" will benefit Stuart House, a nationally recognized, model program of the Rape Treatment Center, serving the special needs of child victims of sexual abuse and their families. In its 8th year, the event has raised over 1.5 million dollars for Stuart House.

    k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang will celebrate the release of Sing it Loud by playing the complete album live at two intimate shows the week the album is released. They will perform at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on Monday, April 11 and at (le) poisson rouge in New York City on Thursday, April 14.

    In June, k.d. and the Siss Boom Bang will launch their first tour together. They will be performing material from Sing it Loud and songs from throughout k.d.'s career on the North American run, which will keep them on the road into the fall. They will also play the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA on May 1. See below for initial detail.
